Booking Confirmation:
To confirm your booking, we require a deposit of 35% of the total travel cost from clients. For camping safaris and mountain climbing, the balance payments can be made upon arrival.
Payment Terms:
A deposit of 35% of the tour cost is due at the time of booking confirmation, with the balance due no later than 50 days before the safari tour begins. Full payment is required for bookings made less than 40 days before the tour start date. Tours may not be executed if payment is not received according to these terms.
Late Payment:
If the payment date is exceeded, a friendly reminder will be sent. Failure to make the payment thereafter may result in trip cancellation, with a 30% cancellation fee charged.
Cancellation Policy:
Please notify us by email as soon as possible if you need to cancel your trip. Cancellation fees are as follows:
– Up to 50 days before arrival: 30% of the total amount.
– 50 to 40 days before arrival: 75% of the total amount.
– 40 days to arrival: 100% of the total amount.
No refunds will be given for unused services, late arrivals, or no-shows.
Amendments:
All safari itineraries are subject to availability until confirmed. If proposed accommodations are fully booked, we will offer a suitable alternative in the same price range or higher, with a possible surcharge. If no acceptable alternative is available, a full refund will be provided.
Travel Insurance:
Comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation coverage, is mandatory. We recommend checking your existing coverage before traveling.
Visa:
It is your responsibility to obtain a tourist visa for Tanzania.
Transportation:
Efforts are made to ensure safari vehicles are in good condition, but we cannot be liable for punctures, breakdowns, or delays due to poor road conditions. Only company-appointed guides are allowed to drive company vehicles.
Wildlife Viewing:
While viewing animals, maintain a minimum distance and follow the instructions of guides or wildlife rangers.
Complaints:
Report any complaints immediately to the Safari Under the Sky Limited guide or head office. If not resolved to your satisfaction, written complaints must be submitted within 30 days of tour completion.
Liability:
Safari Under the Sky Limited is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, personal injury, or death. Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory.
Force Majeure:
In case of force majeure, we will inform you immediately and make reasonable efforts to compensate you. We reserve the right to deduct reasonable costs incurred due to force majeure from any refund.
